§36-13-17. Duties of members.

(a) Unless otherwise provided for in the governing principles, a member shall not have any fiduciary duty to a decentralized unincorporated nonprofit association or to any other member of the nonprofit association merely by reason of being a member.

(b) A member acting on behalf of the association shall discharge his or her duties in the best interest of the association.
