CHAPTER 55. ACTIONS, SUITS AND ARBITRATION; JUDICIAL SALE.

ARTICLE 7K. IMMUNITY FROM CIVIL LIABILITY FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FACILITIES AND RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY FACILITIES.

§55-7K-2. Applicability of provisions.

(a) The provisions of this article are applicable to all causes of action accruing on or after July 1, 2018.

(b) The provisions of this article operate in addition to, and not in derogation of, any of the provisions contained in §55-7B-1 et seq. of this code.

Previous§55-7K-1. Limiting civil liability for certain behavioral health facilities and residential recovery facilities providing crisis stabilization services and/or drug and alcohol detoxification services, substance use disorder services, and/or drug overdose services on a short-term basis.

§55-7K-2. Applicability of provisions.
