§16-68-21. Exception to licensure and certification; supervised employees and self-help groups.

Nothing in this article shall be construed to apply to the activities and services of paid alcohol and drug counselors who are working at a licensed behavioral health center or uncompensated alcohol and drug abuse self-help groups, including, but not limited to,12-step fellowships.
